This Thing Called Blogging

Unique Journey

Unique Journey

Amongst all the fabulous things that I unwrapped this Christmas, one gift in particular stands out.  I received a coffee mug that reads: “Blogging.  Never before have so many people had so much to say about so little.

This is my third post to my new blog and those words on that mug keep repeating over and over in my head.  Not very motivational.  I’m attempting to give the world something profound to read.  Quiet please!!

I have to give credit to those who put up blog posts everyday.  It’s not an easy task.  Where do they get their ideas from?  Do they have followers?  Is it necessary to have followers if all they are doing is droning on and on “about so little“?  Suddenly I feel like Andy Rooney!

I hope that over time this Picture This and That Blog will be a place where my adventures in photography will be documented so interestingly enough to be worthy of repeat readership and that I get a few followers too.  Like a newspaper.  Like that Julie Powell blog documenting the Julie/Julia Project.  That’s possible, right?  Oh wait.  I need a project.

For now my project is photo editing.  I have a lot of photo editing to get done.  So I will conclude this post by asking myself one simple question.  Am I up to the task for this thing called blogging?  I think I am!

psssst …. follow me : )
